What’s the point?

What’s the point of getting your tubes tide if there is still a possibility you can get pregnant? I have 2 kids and I don’t want anymore. I want a permanent solution so I was thinking getting my tubes tide would be the way to go but I’ve read so many blogs online where women would share how they still got pregnant or knew someone who got pregnant after getting tubes tide.
So if there is still a possibility of getting pregnant whats the point of the procedure? Is there a permanent solution for a women to not have kids?

Tubal ligation has a failure rate of of .1%. It's miniscule! Don't let the vocal very tiny minority dissuade you from a very effective method.

there are risks in ANYTHING. examples - condoms only protect 98% of the time, birth control pills 99%. epidural has all the chances of failing, a heart transplant has risks,  an anesthesia has risks. yet all these are done thousands of times a year. nothing comes without risk.  that said, yes there's a permanent solution - hysterectomy. it removes all Ur female reproductive organs, not making it possible to EVER get pregnant again

Ask to have your tubes removed? idk. I had a hysterectomy. They took everything but ovaries.
