Which birth control do you recommend?

I currently have the Nexplanon. I really don’t want to get pregnant, but I hate that the implant causes long periods. Help me out. The main reason I am on birth control is to prevent me from pregnancy.

Your periods shouldn't be longer on the implant. They're supposed to be lighter or even disappear altogether. For the first 3-6 months they might be irregularity or heavier, but it should be temporary. If it's not, the implant isn't the right choice for you.
If you're wondering what the most effective methods of birth control are, the implant, Depo shot, and IUDs are the most effective. The pill is also very effective, but if you forget to take it, you have the potential to become pregnant. The pill can also cause changes to your menstrual cycle (I used to get 2 periods in a month on certain pills!). Anything with hormones can.
