For anyone who hates dilation checks...

My husband, an RN, verified that the purple line to measure dilation is a real thing for about 76% of women (according to a small study). I apparently have it and he was able to accurately tell that I was 3cm from it before my doctor checked me 🤗. He said it looks kind of like a fresh stretch mark. So could be a comfortable way to keep track at home? It does not show up before 3 cm of dilation usually, sometimes not until 4+.
