Shingles and unvaccinated baby?

I was certain it was a bug but now the rash began. Pretty sure it’s shingles and my son is not vaccinated yet? Ideas on how to reduce the chance he will be infected by chicken pox?

When my sister had shingles (I've never had chicken pox) the doctor told my mom unless I lick the rash I'm not getting it.

Where is the area located? If it’s somewhere you can easily cover it up with your clothes then you should be fine.
