I’m pregnant.

Just got the call from my doctor’s office who confirmed my pregnancy. This is literally our first month of trying, so I’m shocked that it worked out so quickly. I won’t be seeing the doctor again until mid-November, so I’m trying to relax and stay positive.

I’ve had light to medium spotting the past two evenings. My family doctor is on vacation so I was directed to a walk-in clinic.

The doctor wasn’t overly concerned since the bleeding isn’t heavy and I had no pain. I’ve gone for further blood and urine testing and need to go back for an ultra sound later this afternoon.

The lady at the ultrasound clinic told me I should come back in another week since I am about 5 weeks pregnant and that’s a little too early. I told her I was there due to complications and she booked me in without another word.

I’m a little scared but trying not to obsess.
