Breastfeeding does hurt at the beginning just because you’re not used to someone sucking on your nipples constantly (and it is constant those first few days) but if your Latch is good there shouldn’t be any pain once your nipples get used to it! I was afraid pumping would hurt too but it hasn’t for me!

Breastfeed will hurt at first but it gets better! So much better lol and pumping never hurt for me

breastfeeding does hurt at first especially when you just start feeding and trying to get the right latch for you and baby.
Baby will cluster feed for the first couple of days too, my midwife said day 2 and 3 are the worse. My milk come in on day 3 and my god my boobs were solid and sore so be prepared.

I tried pumping last week to see if it would start contractions (it didn't)... I just thought it felt weird, but not painful... granted I haven't breastfed yet.

Electric pumps hurt me but not manual pumps or baby latching.... with my first, at least. She started out with an amazing latch. Breastfeeding only hurts if something isn't quite right about the latch, as far as i've experienced
