Has anyone ever aspirated what looks like pus when preparing to inject your progesterone in oil? It has happened about three times in the same approximate area in the last week or so.

I asked one of my nurses about it after the first time and she agreed that it could be un-absorbed oil. I have no pain, redness or swelling in the area. I do not have a fever.

I will try to call and chat with the pharmacy about it tomorrow but feel like it’s not emergent enough to page the on call person at my fertility clinic.
