Too late for Tdap?

I'll be 36 weeks on Monday. Is it too late for me to get the Tdap?

I just got mine at 37.5 weeks. My doctor said they usually want it done by 36 but now is better than never! Go for it!

My friends who are pharmacists say that it’s good for you to get it whenever you can though recommend before 36 as many have said to give baby as much chance at immunity as possible. If you want it then getting it now/asap is good too because then you shouldn’t be able to pass it on to baby at least and if you breast feed that will also pass on. (If you don’t that’s okay too!) my doctor recommended my husband and I both get so we both don’t have a chance of passing it on. 
I’ve known of quite a few poor babies who got pertussis and oh honey it’s horrible 😢. My cousin is a Neonatal nurse and she has seen so many poor babies suffer from things like pertussis and there’s not much they can do for them once they contract it but treat the symptoms.

Not too late. here in NZ they recommend it between 28-38 weeks. Better to get it a bit late than not at all.

If you don’t get it before birth you will have it in the hospital but like others said your baby wont get as much from it

You can still get it for yourself but baby won't really get the immunity from you getting it.

TDAP has NEVER been tested for safety or efficiency in pregnancy. Don’t do it!!
