Amniotic fluid leak?

I woke up this morning and after a few days of loosing my plug ( which I’m still loosing) I had coughed and felt a burst of water. Definitely not pee. Now I just feel a VERY slow leak on and off   Could it be my water? It’s just not how I imagined water breaking. So confused. Random contractions and back pain. Not timetable. Also diarrhea but hard to say what’s going on...

Mine broke that way when I laid down and turned sides I would feel wet or when I would get up I felt wet so I laid down for 30 mins and when I got up I was wet again, and it smelled kind of like semen/bleachy, so I showered got ready and headed to the hospital I put on a pad by the time I got there it was full and when I was taking my clothes it dropped down my legs, once the baby moved the whole thing came out.

I had this SAME thing yesterday. I lost my plug Monday (pieces throughout the day & the rest of it that evening) & ever since have had a definite increase in CM. I stood up yesterday, went to the bathroom, & then as I was walking out had a sudden trickle of fluid. I thought it was my water too. I called my midwife & she checked. It wasn’t my amniotic fluid. She said that since my plug was lost my body will continue to make a lot of mucus since that helps protect the baby. When you sleep or are sitting/laying in one spot for awhile it liquifies so when you stand up it leaks out.
