Waiting on positive

So I’m waiting for my period to come on or a pregnancy test I’m already on my 9 or 10 ovulation test. Side not I tried to conceive on October 5th 😘I took out my nextplanon on Sept 22 😁 and had my period till sept 28th. So ive had sex at least five time I’m not ovulating but I read if I want a girl I have to have sex 4 days before ovulation. I took a pregnancy test this morning and still no baby.... if you have any advice let me know... this waiting game is critical.
