Would you let your 2 year old play with these? Also with a 6 month old in the house?

My brother in law bought a toy for his daughter (I don't think he realized the small pieces) and we were there baby sitting. I noticed little pieces and took them. I just thought they were too small and it made me nervous the 2 year old or 6 month old would put them in their mouth. 😬

after a recent trip to the emergency dept with a foreign object stuck up my almost 2 year olds nose i can assure you i would not let my kids play with small toys like this

oh goodness its not safe I know he meant well but you can't keep up with the tiny pieces and either one could put it in their mouths without you noticing

Some two year olds are past the point of putting things in their mouths. Mine just turned two, but we are starting to let her play with some 3+ toys (my parents bought her a doll with some small pieces for her birthday). Around a 6 month old, though, definitely not!

It really depends on the kid. My daughter never put things in her mouth... my son is like a puppy. He is trained to spit things out when I say "give" 😂.
