Is it safe to mix formula with breast milk in the same bottle?

obviously taking care to measure and mix formula properly before adding breastmilk.... sometimes I'm just a little shy of enough breastmilk for a bottle and want to use formula to make up the difference

Yes but you have to discard it in 2 hours just like formula so do so sparingly

Yes, when my son was in the NICU they mixed formula with my breast milk until my milk came in and I was producing enough for him
