How soon is too soon for a new relationship?

Okay so I’ve been out of a relationship for 2 and a half months now. I’ve just started talking to this guy I’ve known for 10 years about a month ago. Is it bad that I to be with so soon?

No such thing as too soon as long as you're comfortable. There's no rules for that kinda thing, just go at your own pace

I got out of a 4.5 year relationship that had been pretty much dying/dead for the last year of it. I knew that I personally was ready to start dating again right away (like two weeks later right away). I ended up waiting 8months before getting back into a relationship (only because it took that long for the right guy to come along)!

i think you need time to really purge the other person from your heart/mind. Also, it helps to have time to yourself to refect. Rushing into something new can stop that from fully happening.
