So since I have baby fever and we aren't going to start trying for a few months my husband told me to start organizing and moving things out of our guest/spare room that will be the nursery once we have baby.

So, there's this full sized bed in our guest room now and just boxes of holiday junk, etc that we don't use. I can go through the boxes and move those but I asked him to help me move the bed into our downstairs room that's now an office. Well he said no, he wants to keep the bed in the baby room bc he thinks it will be good to have it in case one of us want to sleep in here with the baby ? I don't like this idea at all and I think he's just trying to get out of helping me move furniture. I have this whole vision of a crib, and a teepee, changing table, and rocking chair - there is no room for this big bed in our future baby room - plus I don't want to get in the habit of not sleeping with my husband.

Any mom's out there think it actually is a good idea to have a bed in the baby room? Why or why not?

We joke that this is our cats room right now bc he's always up here sleeping 🐱
