Yeast infections with mirena IUD

I got a mirena IUD put in last year and it seems that ever since I’ve had it put in, I keep getting yeast infections. It’s also changed my discharge where I’m just really self conscious about it (like a yellow tinted gooey one). Idrk what to do besides get it out but I’m afraid to get a different birth control because I don’t want to gain weight. Anyone deal with the same thing or has advice? I’ve read that people have asked their doctors if it causes yeast infections and they’ll say no but obviously it is.
