Anal sex desensitizing lube?

Has anyone ever tried this or something like this? Does it work? I tried anal one time with a previous partner and didn't enjoy it. My husband wants to give it a go and I'm willing to make an attempt seeing that man people do enjoy it and I hear you may even orgasm. Any tips and tricks or advice in general?

I work in a "toy" store and I can tell you that myself and the rest of the staff highly recommend not using numbing lube for anal.  yes we sell it, and yes they market it for that, but it's not really that safe.  At least not if you're inexperienced.  You could hurt yourself and not know until it's too late because getting numb let's things go faster or rougher than they should.  
What I do recommended is a good quality silicone lube.  wicked and Jo are both good brands.  Be advised that silicone is not safe for toys or condoms, if you're using that I can give different recommendations.  
Also take your time! If you orgasm before anal it becomes easier so starting with oral is a great idea, and starting with fingers is a good idea as well.  If he's too sqeemish to finger it  he's too immature to put dick in it....

I don't suggest this but what always helped me enjoy anal more was using a toy such as a butt plug or dildo to slowly stretch you out a little first. I know it sounds unusual but it allows your body to adjust without the pressure from your partner to hurry. Oh and tons of regular lube!
