EDIT** Ignoring me on my birthday

Today's my 21st birthday. I spent the night with my boyfriend last night and he dropped me off at home earlier this morning. We're usually the type to text on and off all day long, but he hasn't said a word to me today. Hasn't said happy birthday or anything (which I normally don't care about, but he's my boyfriend, come on).

I texted him and asked him what he was doing, and he just said "nothing." Hasn't said a word since. So why can't he at least talk to me if he's not even busy? Am I overreacting? Strangers on Facebook have said more to me today than he has.

EDIT: He got me some coffee mugs and pj pants last week, so it's not like he hasn't gotten me anything at all, I'm just disappointed and confused that he's barely even speaking to me today. 😭

**Edit 2**: he came over for cake and ice cream, he's still being kind of mean. I'm honestly so annoyed that he's acting like this. We've been together for 2.5 years
