What time does your 5 month old go to bed? 😴

My son goes to bed around 9:30pm - I feel it’s a little late but can not get him to sleep earlier! Just wondering how he compares to other bubs out there around his age. Thanks for your input!

Well my LO just turned 5 months yesterday he goes to bed around 930. I have contemplated putting him to bed sooner because he typically takes a nap around 730. But usually he takes that nap and then I wake him at 9 and he eats a whole bottle and goes to bed. I’m worried if I put him to bed when he takes his nap that he won’t make it through the whole night because he will be hungry. The last bottle prior to his 9 pm bottle is around 6. And I can’t ever seem to push it off longer so it doesn’t work to feed him and put him down for his nap. Though maybe if I give him his baby food around 6 and feed a bottle around 730 he would go to bed and be good. I just feel like we’ve got such a good schedule going not to mention I really enjoy some cuddle time with my little guy since I work all day and don’t get to see him until 4. If he went to bed at 730 I’d only get to see him for 3.5 hours haha. Idk maybe I’m being selfish though.

Depending on my 5m olds naps she usually goes to bed between 630-730. I have been putting her to bed between 7-8 typically 7 since she was 3 weeks old. She is set in her routine very well. I try for after 7 but some days she is just so tired she can't stay awake any longer. lol. We do bath between 6-7. Then right after she wants a bottle then goes to bed. She will sleep 11-12 hours. The other day she slept over 12!

mine goes to bed straight after his last bottle wether its 7pm or 9pm or inbetween but mostly he consistant with a feed around 8-830 pm even if he has solids at 7 pm or 4pm lol he pretty bang on ...he will also wake up at times if he asleep however long he been asleep ....i just go with the routine he does as i know he consistant so can plan stuff around him but it never stops us going out we just take the stuff we need with us

Around 5 months my baby started putting herself to bed around 6:44 or 7. We try to get her to 7 or 7:30 sometimes, bus some days she’s ready for bed at 6:00.

My baby usually stays up SO LATE (usually after midnight)! I just can't get her down for the night earlier than that most times. I'll put her to bed at a "normal" bedtime and she will just take a really good nap and be hyper when mom and dad want to actually go to sleep 😓

My LO is usually in bed by 8pm at the latest. I learned early that a strict routine for bed time helps. Every night he gets a massage when i put his pjs on and then his bottle. I've found the massage calms him down. I use the night time lavender wash and lotion, that helps relax him as well. You have to find the right routine for you and the LO, but stick to it! even if the routine is different each night, keep it the same every week. read a book, sing lullabies, cuddle. I do it all. I also make sure my husband says good night every night, along with my father-in-law. I hope this input helps!

We start our bedtime routine around 7:45 by getting a bath ready, having the bath, getting lotioned up and into jammies, and then settle in for our last nursing session for the night around 8:30. Then he's in bed by 9.

Mine was going to bed around then, but we decided to push her time earlier, and now she usually goes to bed around 7-8pm. But it will depend on lots of variables, like when her last feed was, how she napped thru her day, and how her evening nap went. I try my best to be as consistent as possible. But tonite, for example, she wouldn’t go to bed, and it was because she had to poop. So bedtime turned into 9:30pm.

I had the same issue. My little guy is formula fed so we reduced the number of bottles from 6 to 5 and just increased the amount per feed and now he goes to bed between  730 and 830 depending on the day and sleeps until 6-7am. No night feedings.
