How do you feel about period sex?

Okay so for some strange reason I've been on my period for 3 weeks straight. Last night my poor boyfriend was extremly sexually frustrated but I told him we couldnt have sex as I was STILL on my period. Soon after he started kissing me and things got heated but I was still adamant we couldnt have sex but he kept saying he didnt mind and that I should relax about it. I was freaking out about doing it and he honestly didnt seem to care. So long story short, we had sex and tbh with you it wasnt half as bad or messy as I ever thought it would be. 
This just got me wondering what all you girls views were on having sex whilst on your period. For me it was always a big no no but things seem to have changed for the fact I clearly have a wonderful boyfriend. Also, for those of you who have tried it, did you enjoy it or not?

Have done it and I am a fan, it actually can help the easing of period pains too, so I’m all up for it. Especially when my man is too 😊

Surprisingly I’m a fan. I use to be totally against it because I thought it would be messy but it’s not really at all. And it actually makes me feel better if I’m cramping or have a headache

I, personally, am not a big fan of period sex. My boyfriend doesn't mind though.
