Fiancé Picked Boy Name But....

My fiancé picked the boy name and I don’t like it.

Charles Thomas.

He’s trying to copy his father and grandpas name but I just don’t like order of the names.

On top of that. His grandpa is a first. His dad is a second. They completely skipped my fiancé and he thinks if we have a son it’ll be a third.... but it won’t. It’s just starting over. :/ My fiancés first name is Also Charles but they gave him a different middle name. He goes by a nickname and can’t stand for me to call him Charles.

Plus.... I kinda don’t like the name Charles ....

My grandpas name was Thomas and my fiancé’s saying because that’s their middle name it’ll have meaning towards my grandpa .... But it won’t.... it’s just a copy of a copy of a name :/. I’m not a fan of names that repeat like this in families and don’t want it if I have a son.

I suggested switching the names and making it Thomas Charles and he threw a mini tantrum about how I won’t compromise.... But I changed the girl name to compromise.... I got to keep the first name I life but had to change the middle name for him even though the one I picked was my mothers moms middle name. I changed it to his grandma and sisters middle name :/

Am I in the wrong for just wanting to completely snatch his right to make a name away since he can’t compromise even though I’ve changed an important part of the girl name for him?

His childish “my way only” attitude is getting on my last nerve. I wanna punch him if he keeps it up. But I won’t 😒.... Maybe....

Any advice?

I am still pretty early in my pregnancy but I want this topic out the way already. :/

I know it’s gonna be one that lasts till I have the baby though just because of how my fiancé is....
