ANIME ISNT FOR SCHOOL SHOOTERS

So my brothers think that anime is for school shooters

It's not

I tried to get them to watch it, but they just kept saying "this is so creepy!" "I feel myself becoming Emo every second!"

They make fun of me and call me a school shooter. They say that anime music is what kids listen to when the walk into school ready to shoot it up. They said that I'm gonna murder people who don't like anime and move to Japan where I'll dye my hair hot pink and talk in all Japanese. It really bothers me because they constantly make fun of me for it and they say Naruto (one of my favorite animes) is for 8 year olds. How do I either:

1) Get over it

2) Somehow show them that anime isn't for school shooters

3) Get them to stop making fun of me

(I forgot toradora and recently got hooked on Ouran High School Host Club)
