alternatives to pads/ tampons?

So , I'm big on social media/blogging and recently I've been seeing a lot of woman steering towards these sea sponges that are used like tampons just minus unhealthy toxins . apparently they're reusable , was curious if any of you ladies on here have tried them out before/would like to and what's your thoughts/views on them

I would personally never use these as I have a heavy and intense period and I couldn't imagine wringing these out in the sink with clots squeezing between my fingers 😫😱 the diva cup works for me

Never heard of these before so I watched a video about them. Not sure I'm comfortable with inserting something wet into my vagina. Even if I only handled it at home, it's too much work for me. Diva Cup all the way! I bought mine for $40 two years ago, it's already well paid off. Empty it, give it a quick rinse or wipe with tp, and reinsert. I can do that anywhere, even out in the woods.

I would definitely try them if it isn't likely for me to leak through them quickly. I've never heard of them so I will do more research. I'm all for better alternatives to the environment!

I would also not use a sponge, but have had a diva cup since Feb. I love it.
