Vitamin E oil?

I've heard it works good for scars. I don't have stretch marks, but a few scabs due to scratching. And I can't stop picking them!!! I considered purchasing bio oil for them, but hesitated due to its price. But I did see that vitamin E is included in the ingredients. 
Have you had any success using vitamin E oil?

Yes! Used it on previous surgery scars. Helped a ton. I also mixed vitamin E in with my cocoa butter lotion during pregnancy and had zero stretch marks.
