Would you date a coworker, why or why not? (Assuming your company allows it)
I feel I could separate business and pleasure if it would result in a break up. 
There's a guy I'm really interested in getting to know but I'm not sure how to get his attention. I'm awful at making the first move and I'm new so I'm pretty shy right now.

My boyfriend and I met working in a restaurant. November 1st will be our 6 year anniversary 😊 I couldn’t imagine this crazy life without him by my side every step of the way! We’re currently TTC #1 and I’m hoping this is our month!!💕

I met my fiancé at work in 2010. We have been "official" (there was some casual sex & dating before any labels & before that we were friends) since 3rd August 2011. In the 8 years that we've known each other we've had some amazing holidays, fallen in love, became best friends, supported each other through tough times (including infertility), moved in together, gotten engaged and I'm currently pregnant with our first baby. Dating a coworker was the best thing I've ever done!! I'd recommend just being friends first, it opens up the whole possibility of doing things outside of work where you'll most likely be more comfortable & it won't even feel like you need to make a move. Actually I’m with my ex coworker now. there were years when I didn’t think about dating him at all and lots of people at work suspected we did that. So you never know who can foresee your future relationships for you.

I dated one coworker for 7 months. It would have been longer but one night he decided to what i assumed was mix drugs and alcohol and went crazy and threatened me. And i was seeing another coworker for a few months

seeing my exs  is always awkward no matter how long ago it was lol so I definetly couldn't work with someone who was an ex..therefor I couldn't date a Co worker! thankfully I'm married and don't have to worry about that now lol

As long as you're professional in the work place I don't see a problem, my parents worked together my entire life at their place of employment but they never worked in the same department and there was never any problem with it! It's all about professionalism :)

I personally wouldn’t, but two of my coworkers started dating and got married so 🤷‍♀️ it worked out for them.
