Any soon to be moms ever involved in no fault car accident late in pregnancy? I was hit by a young driver and taken by ambulance, admitted to hospital overnight since the accident started contractions. Their insurance company accepted 100% liability. Now the baby is ok but I am worried about the stress it put on me. I was never in an accident before. Never had a speeding or parking ticket. Anyway, the other insurance company wants to settle pain and suffering claim. Emotionally I was and still am a wreck worrying about my unborn baby and scared to drive. I am in a rental car as my car was Sandwiched and declared unsafe to drive. I am going to give birth any day now, I really didn’t need this added stress. Anyone ever had a situation like this? What did you request/get for pain and suffering claim? Is it worth hiring a lawyer?
