How to contour for my face?

Bad picture but it shows my face best I don't know what shape my face would be considered and where I'm suppose to contour? Contouring is something I've always stayed away from but I want to try it where does it go?

Hello there. I hope you dont mind but i took the liberty of very carefully mapping out a contour and highlight look for you.

So, the black lines are where you would lightly apply a bronzer for a more natural contour, or to create a more chiseled and defined look you would apply with a heavier hand. Just remember, you can always add more contour powder or bronzer and its better to build up to the right tone and depth of shade than it is to add too much and try to take it off. Also, you dont want to bring the contour too far down your nose, and if you ever find your contour is getting sharp edges you can always buff it out a bit with a powder brush.  basically -   BLACK Lines: contour. RED Lines - Blush. GREY Lines: Highlight. The neat thing about highlight is that without adding contour and just using highlight on its own you're creating a strobing look. I traced all of the places that people might put highlight, but you should really play around with the areas and see what works best for you. I hope this helped ❤

It’s hard to explain in a comment. It’s easier to learn with hands on experience. I suggest watching you tubers and also going to ulta or Sephora and picking up a basic power contour kit and foundation and ask an empowered to have an artist show you. Especially at Sephora, they will be more than happy to help you. Thy tell you what will be best for your skin, which looks flawless!! And what will be best for a beginner. It’s super simple. You just need the right brushes and products. Technique will come naturally once you learn and practice.
