So I had my daughter 12 days ago. I hemorrhaged very badly in the hospital, resulting in my hemoglobin going from a 12 to an 8, iron pills and almost a blood transfusion. Since then bleeding scared me lol. It’s been a consistent and heavy flow, since birth but it turned to a dark brown/ dark red color. Yesterday I started having period cramps and the blood turned back to dark red/bright red and it’s consistent. Sitting in the bath, I bleed. Sitting on the toilet, it dribbles out. Standing up, I bleed. And it’s a lot of blood at once. Not enough to soak through a pad, but it’s enough to cover side to side and a good amount of the middle of the pad. I’ve only had a couple clots. I’m not necessarily worried about a late hemorrhage, I’m just worried if it’s normal or not! experiences?
