From nexplanon to copper IUD

Hello fantastic ladies!!! I have a question concerning the copper IUD. I am currently on the birth control implant called nexplanon and I really don’t like it that much. I’ve been spotting for over a month, a couple days of random heavy bleeding, pimples like I’ve never had before and that’s all for now. I’ve had it for 6 months now and am seriously considering switching to non hormonal birth control. Also, before nexplanon I was on a low dose birth control pill for about 5 years. So the copper IUD would be my first time without some form of hormones in 5 almost 6 years. If anyone has advise or personal experience on getting the copper IUD that would be amazing! Maybe if you’re someone that was on hormonal for a couple years then switched, how did that effect you? Anything would be greatly appreciated!!!
