Letrozole given by a regular OBGYN??

Has anyone been prescribed Letrozole by their regular Obgyn without a lot of monitoring? The state of Georgia does not cover any fertility treatment at all and I just wanted to know if I could get the medication prescribed by my general OBGYN.

Yes! My gyn is the one who prescribed me clomid and letrozole. Clomid gave me horrible side effects and now I’m on my second round of 2.5mg letrozole. But no monitoring or follicle scans for me this route.

My obgyn prescribed Clomid and letrozole. Clomid was not covered.  i paid $30 each time and letrozole is free for me.. not sure.... I'm also on Georgia.

I met someone today who was prescribed clomid by their OBGYN. Can't hurt to ask. Worst they'll say is no. 🤷🏼‍♀️

My ob/gyn prescribed me femara. The meds weren't covered but it was very cheap, like $12 each cycle max depending on my dosage, and then the appointment was just my normal copay.

I was given clomid for 3 months unmonitored except a progesterone level each month. I ovulated at the higher dose but since it was going on my 4th month she wouldn’t prescribe anymore and referred me to a reproductive endocrinologist who then started femara with monitoring.

My OB/Gyn gave me it as well. Unmonitored. I just finished my 4 th month and he won’t refill it though. Apparently one isn’t supposed to be on it very long.

My on also gives me my femara 3 on 5 mg cd 3-7 but if I don't get a bfp this month he give me a prescription on 7 mg and I am going to add pressed no trigger or monitoring just ovulation testing and baby dance FYI don't buy the ritaid brand opk you can barely see the test line but the control is thick i missed my ovulation for 2 months
