Yesterday on The View there was a conversation about racism. I don't remember the exact conversation (you can probably find the clip if you want to, it was from October 25th) the part that stuck out to me was when the pregnant white blonde host (I forget her name) said that her intellect was dismissed any time she tries to critically discuss any race related issues. The example she used was BLM. She said she was completely in support of the movement as an Ally and wanted to add her perspective and criticism to help improve the message. She felt that because she was white she wasn't allowed to weigh in even if her ultimate goal was to be helpful. Thoughts?
