Do you trust condoms to protect you from unwanted pregnancy?

Do you think condoms are a good way to protect yourself from unwanted pregnancy? I'm not on the pill and I don't really want to get back on it, but I'm terrified of getting pregnant. Are condoms enough?

Health and sexual health providers would not offer condoms if they didn't work. The chance of failure is so little and would only be down to incorrect use or defects. Nowadays with the tight control of quality on products (especially branded trying to ensure quality to improve their image). They are very effective.

I personally don't trust them alone; i absolutely don't want kids. I had a condom break just yesterday with my bf and was grateful that I'm on the pill and didn't have to rush and buy plan b. But many people rely solely on condoms and if you prefer to just use them, that's your choice!

they're reliable but at the same time if they break or get stuck into you, you should use Plan B as back up. also fill them with water after sex to check for holes

Six years with my husband (only four married), and used condoms for dating and when I got the implant out. Didn’t get pregnant til way later. I’m a believer.

Lube him up before putting the condom on and then put more lube on the outside. It'll feel better for the both of you and reduce friction/chances of breaking. FWIW I've been relying on condoms only for 3 years.
