friends with a ex?

so my boyfriend is still friends witg an ex of his, i dont know how i 100% feel about this (like i should be mad but at the same time i dont care) so i thought i would come on here and get a few opinions...... what do you think about your boyfriend still being friends with an ex or someone they have had sex with/wanted to have sex with

There's absolutely nothing wrong with maintaining a friendship with someone after a breakup, it's actually probably the healthier thing to do, assuming that the romantic feelings are no longer present. I know plenty of people, including myself, who still have platonic relationships with their exes, and I think that says more about a person than if they do not speak to any of their exes anymore because the breakup was really bad or they just can't be adults.

I don't like it if they've had sex and I'm not friends with my ex I slept with but I'm friends with ones I haven't sort of. On fb at least

TBH I think it depends on if they still have feelings for one another. Wether it’s mutual or one sided and there are definitely ways to tell if that’s the case use your instincts

Personally I might get a little jealous here and there but I have exes that I am friends with and it means nothing.

I still talk to both my previous fwb on a daily basis. We were friends before having sex and have remained friends after. Both have girlfriends now. I'd be really sad if one of their girlfriends got so insecure that she demanded he stop talking to me. To me, that'd be a red flag on her part. 
As long as the two of them aren't doing anything wrong, don't worry about it.

I remained friends with my first serious boyfriend for literally 10+ years. Mind you, we broke up bc I moved with my family to CA and we never lived in same state again. But, i would visit his family. Anywho, we basically stayed friends until he met his fiancé at which point we naturally drifted and took different paths....

I wouldn't like it personally because that just put you in a spot you not want to be. My man was married before we met and I let go after awhile if them texting because I trust him but after a while I got  mad and texted her back and said please leave us alone and since then nothing. So it may be just her wanting to keep the friendship or him. just ask and see how the messages go. just try to work it out first.
