Epidural vs. No epidural

Okay ladies, FTM and I’m 39 weeks today! I decided at about 25 weeks along that I wanted to try to give birth WITHOUT an epidural. Of course I’ve heard how crazy I am and how I’m probably going to cave in and get it, which makes me wanna not get it even more just to prove people wrong! I think the only thing that might break me would be if I had to be induced, as I’ve been told Pitocin contractions are a whole different ball game all together! Anyway, I wanted to hear some experiences of giving birth with an epidural and giving birth without one. Any advice at all is appreciated! TIA.
