Nail polish on babies

I plan on buying piggy polish which I know is safe for babies and kids but i have Essie nail polish and would like to know if it's safe to use on a newborn. When I look it up all it tells me is that it's safe to use while pregnant and that it doesn't have the 3 most common toxins usually in nail polish anybody know if it's safe or other brands that are safe that I could find in store and not online? Thank you.
