IUD and Masturbating

I'm getting the IUD placed in a few days and currently being single I'm into a lot of self love but one of the things that I know about any of the IUDS is the string that hangs. My question is did you notice it while self loving or anything? Did you displace it? Any advice for self loving while having the IUD?
