Hello dears,

I am 22, and after a slight accident I had to get a back molar extracted the other day. I was going to get an implant, but the dentist recommended braces instead to fill the gap. I have wanted braces since I was about 13 because I have a crowded mouth and very crooked teeth with a slight overbite. I've never smiled in photos with my mouth open, but I've learnt to live with it and just kind of ignore it these days. I do make just enough to go on a payment plan but I'm just wondering what people's opinions are on if braces are worth it as an adult?
