How long have you left a tampon in?

Just wondering how long you've left a tampon in, I hardly use tampons anymore because I'm worried I'll forget to take it out. Also because you can get toxic shock syndrome.

I've always slept in tampons, so the longest was over 8 hours. I know people say not to sleep in them because of the risk of TSS but I just can't do pads, they gross me out. I sleep in them every night when I'm on my period and have never had a problem. I just make sure I put it in right before bed and change it immediately upon waking.

Usually no more than 3-4 hours. Just because I feel like I need to change it every  time I go to the bathroom.

One time I accidentally left it in over 12 hours. Forgot to change it when I went to bed but I was also drunk lol

When I was much younger.. I left it in for 48 hours because I was in the middle of nowhere and didn't have another.

All day on light days, or 12hrs if I'm out and about, both are occasional.

I usually go through 3-4 a day. So I put anew one in when I wake up, change it when I get home from work (or during if my flow is heavy) and then again right before bed. :)

I can be pretty paranoid with that so I just set a timer for 5-6 hours on my phone so I'm not constantly looking for the time

Depends on how heavy/light I am. The lighter it is the longer I leave it in. But no longer than 6 hours.
