Should I get an iud?

What are the pros and cons of a hormonal iud? I’m 17 and I’m not that sexually active should I still get it and just rely on a condom  when I occasionally do have sex?

I would recommend getting the Skyla, which is the small one for women who haven't given birth. Condoms can break and this would spare you from running out and grabbing Plan B. Condoms are reliable, and I would still use them with an IUD as added protection against STDs.

I have Liletta and love it so far. The pill gave me more side effects and I had to remember to pick up a new pack every month and take them with me wherever I went, but with th IUD I don't have to remember anything until the times comes to take it out in a few years
