How many days does it take for a man’s sperm to regenerate? We had a lot of sex the last two cycles and someone said it was overkill for the sperm. How many days should we go without sex?

I read a couple of articles on this trying to find an answer. Ive read every other day through out cycle and every day during fertile window and don’t leave to long between bd as it can damage the sperm. One article said every other day if your man has issues with his sperm but if there are no problems there is no reason to not try everyday and it will increase chances of conception. I also read it takes the sperm a ten hour process once in the female body in order for sperm to be ready to fertilise an egg so sometime waiting for positive opk or change in bbt to bd reduces chances of conception. We tried every other day last cycle and didn’t work so this month going to try every day as I think we completely missed ovulation last month... seems to be the highest chances of conception are the two days before ovulation and the day of ovulation lol and the day after just in case you ovulate late. I’m lost with it at this point, lol have fun, enjoy sex, don’t stress(like me) 😂 and good luck 🤞✨

I've heard every 2nd day is best while some say every day.
