There is no reason to go with brown discharge.  It isn't an emergency unless you have severe pain.  In a situation like this it is a call your ob and notify them and they will likely see you this week sometime

Typically the brown or light discharge early in pregnancy is like your uterus "cleaning house" from what I remember haha
