Periods during military training? Help?!

Question

The last time I had my period was the first week of basic training. I figured it was normal to not have a period through basic training due to the increase of physical activity, but I graduated basic training and have been at job training for the past 8 weeks now, and still no period. I have the nexplanon implant, which sometimes causes me to have less frequent periods, but never this long. Is this anywhere close to normal?

From the people I know who got the implant they don’t get periods at all. They love it cause it’s one less thing to worry about in the field or on deployment.

I got dropped a phase in boot camp and since I was newer to the Island I got my  period. Some of the girls in FRP had been there for 9 months to a year pending recovery and they had gone the whole time without their period. Once I got mine, literally everyone got theirs. The point is, your hormones get fucked up when you’re under stressful condition, probably a change of diet, extended physical activity, and other females in the same boat. It’s hard to tell whats normal and whats not

nexplanond are supposed to help with limiting periods to taking them away. if you're worried go to your PCM  to make sure you're ok and for a piece of mind hun.
