When did you start taking prenatal vitamins?

Hey ladies, I've heard many different times women started taking prenatal, from up to a year before ttc or once they found out, so I'm trying to find out when the best time is!

Three months before you get pregnant is ideal.

When I had my IUD removed, my doctor recommended starting prenatals even though I wasn't trying for a couple months (I wanted my cycle to regulate).  My doctor said they're good to get your body ready, since your baby can benefit the nutrients as soon as it happens.

We did a preconception visit with my dr the month I went off birth control.  He told me to start taking them right away!

I'm taking them now I'm ttc but you can take them before, during and after. :) Its always a good time for vitamins. it'll put more stuff in your body that you're needing
