how long after getting the merina iud can i have sex without risk of getting pregnant ? i got it saturday and now it is monday. thank you babies 💓

I got the mirena 2 years ago and the doctor told me we could have sex right away.  Its not like the pill where you need to use a back up method for the first cycle.  Its probably the most reliable form of BC out there.  My fiancee had a lot of no pull out or back up BC sex and I never got pregnant.  Id just call and ask your doctor to be sure.
