FTM, is this part of my mucus plug?

Question

No itching or foul smell but for the past few days, this snotty like discharge has been coming out here and there. My last appointment my midwife said everything looked healthy, did a swab and said there wasn't any sign of yeast or infection. Sooo could this be the start of my plug coming out?

I have been having that too. Sometime large amounts like blowing your nose.  That's gross i know.  My doctor took sample said it wasn't infection but didn't say what it was.  Of course when they checked it was barely there.  I am curious to know what it was.

Just looks like normal discharge to me.

Yes it might be. The mucus plug isn’t really a plug but a discharge. The only reason it comes out in clots(looks like a plug) is when it builds up and then dislodges all at once. It’s a sign your getting ready but not a sign that you will be having baby soon. 
My first I had a “bloody show” weeks before I finally got induced and my second I don’t remember ever seeing it. This time I’ve had 3 or 4 days the last week where I’ve had mucus plug discharge (no blood). Im still hoping it means I’m about to go into labor. (I’m 38.3)
