My mom wants me to get on birth control for my periods because my periods and cramps are so severe they usually put me in the hospital for the pain and every single time they say I have cysts on my ovaries. The pain hurts BAD it causing me to not be able to breath, it’s terrible . I have the option of birth control to relieve some of the pain but to be honest , I don’t know anything about it and I’ve heard that it can make you gain weight! Can someone please tell me a little more about birth control and all the kinds and everything because I have no clue!
