This poll is semi informational and semi just plain interesting lol. For a lot of people out there who are unsure if their sexual encounter could in fact lead to pregnancy, this might be a good resource to look to.

Of course there are women who were actively TTC but sometimes it’s unexpected from what I’ve seen!

I see a lot of people that are actually surprised that the “pull out” method could get you pregnant or that someone could get pregnant while on their period (although this is rare).

Instead of lumping “birth control I thought would work” into one category I’ve broken it down somewhat. I couldn’t add “condom broke” as a line item so if that’s you, comment below as long as you’re comfortable. If I missed something else feel free to comment, too. Again as long as you feel comfortable doing so :-)

This is by NO means a call out post because I was one of those women who came to Glow and read pregnancy stories and was like:

Let’s just say I’ve taken some unexpected risks.. like thinking you can’t get pregnant while on your period. Had no clue sperm lives up to 3 days in your system!

Please be kind to those who are uninformed in this topic, after all this is an app for us to come together and share our stories, knowledge and experiences.
