Mamas of preemies, were you born prematurely?

I’ve heard that premie moms are more likely to give birth to preemies. Just curious about your experiences.

I myself was premature and gave birth at 32 weeks.

I was born at 35 weeks and gave birth to a 29 weeker.

I was born at 32 weeks and gave birth at 23 weeks and 6 days.

I’m a mother of a 28 weeker. I was born at 36 weeks, my brother was also born at 28 weeks! Both my mother and I never got a real answer as to why we went into preterm labor

I was born at 41 weeks but my girls tried to come at 24 weeks and was on bedrest until 33 when they were born

Forgot to add that I went into spontaneous early labor and had a really uneventful pregnancy up until that point. For preemie mamas who also had preemies, I’m extra curious if you went into early labor or if preterm delivery was triggered by preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, etc!

I was a 34 weeker and my son came at 31 weeks!

I was full term, had my son at 36 weeks. later on I found out my dad was born at 36 wks and my uncle at 34. my family never talked about when someone was born but just how much they weighed, I assumed small babies ran on my dad's side but it turned out to be early ones.
