Did you linea negra go away after birth, & if so when?

I’m only a week PP but wondering if this will fade. My husband says he doesn’t think it will but I’ve heard that they do.

You can actually scrub it off. It's a discoloration in skin pigmentation. Of course be gentle!

10 weeks pp and only just starting to fade x

I don't remember how long but mine went away. my daughter has a dark line right there tho, like I passed it on to her lol.

I’m 7weeks PP and still have mine. I think it will eventually as mine is way lighter. 
Like my mom had me 30 some years ago and she doesn’t have one 😂 so I assume it just lightens over time.

they do usually go away. depends on hormones. it will fade. it took you 9 months to grow a baby. it could take 9 months to get back to normal

5 months post partum and can barely see mine. It was never super dark though.

I’m 5 months postpartum and mine is gone. No idea when it went away though haha I stopped noticing it after a couple months.
