This is my first PCS ! From Ft.Jackson, SC to Ft.Polk Louisiana. Me and my husband have lived in Columbia , SC (outside of ft Jackson) our whole lives so to leave EVERYONE & EVERYTHING behind is hard ! He leaves next Wednesday on the 8th to report in and as soon as I can get transportation out here I’ll be leaving too !

Has anyone been to ft Polk or live there now and can help ease my mind ! & yes I know it’s the arm pit of all bases lol

Also, how was your first PCS ? I’m in denial I’m still acting like we will live here another few years I haven’t even told our landlord November is our last month !

But on the bright side it’s taken my mind of TTC ! Lol
