Uterus pain but no bleeding? Braxton hicks?

This is my first pregnancy and I have no idea what Braxton hicks is supposed to feel like but on and off for a few hours yesterday I would get really tight pain in my uterus/low pelvic area. It was really noticeable to me but didn't really feel like period cramping does, it just hurt. Should I be worried?

It's most likely round ligament pain. Nothing to worry about!

Braxton Hicks can happen early on in pregnancy especially if you have already had a baby.  I am pregnant with my third, 14 weeks and have had a few. 
So they do not hurt at all this early on, or ever really. It is a funny feeling. So your uterus will ball up and feel firm. Nothing major just a gradual tightening till it feels kind of like a “ball” it is firm to the touch and then it gradually releases. Think of your uterus as a deflated ballon. Slowly blow the ballon up and hold the air in the ballon for a bit and then slowly release the air. Boom that is a Braxton Hicks contraction.
